profile: MsFlexin

MsFlexin has 18 months experience as an internet radio Deejay. She fell into DJing by accident and enjoys the challenges of putting her shows together.

MsFlexin has a love of all types of reggae music. Some of the first tunes she bought on vinyl were Junior Murvin – Police and Thieves, Deborah Glasgow – When somebody loves you back, Audrey Hall – One Dance Won't Do, Carol Thompson – Just A Little Bit, Kofi – Didn't I, and John Mclean – If I gave My heart to you. You could say MsFlexin is a Lovers girl!!

MsFlexin remembers going to dances and parties from the age of 15 when her mum allowed her to go to her first Blues dance in the area she lived, from which point she fell in love with Lovers, though she was too shy to dance with anyone.

Also known as 'The Pastor's Daughter' MsFlexin also has a love for gospel music - anything that can lift the spirit. She tries to kick off her show on Sundays with positive gospel/cultured tunes.

Join MsFlexin on Sundays, when she will be happy to play your requests and dedications, while she helps you with the cooking… Bubblin' with yesteryear sounds of dancehall and raga, and Sizzlin' with revival and tunes that make you go awwwww and then turning it right down to Simmer with Lovers, old and new.

MsFlexin will have giveaways and competitions while she reads dedications and plays your requests (if available), while your Sunday cooking is Bubblin', Sizzlin' and Simmerin'.

MsFlexin is also a valued member of the Ramjam Radio management team, helping with Administration matters as Glen T's personal assistant.
